Drum roll! Super excited that The Cedar Tree was voted in at No. 19 for Better Reading s Top 100 Books, and particularly chuffed that I’m rubbing shoulders with the likes of Tim Winton (#18) and Trent Dalton (#20). Thankyou to everyone who voted!

Hi Nicole Alexander,
I have been reading some of your books especially The Last Station. It’s got me wondering that the sheep station that was mentioned in the boom, that the exact location of it. It is between the two rivers if the Murray and the Darling Rivers?
Hi Michelle,
Thanks for contacting me. The Dalhunty property in The Last Station is fictional. However the location I chose for the story is roughly between Bourke and Brewarrina. The property sits on the confluence of the Barwon and Darling Rivers. Take Care
