HISTORICAL NOVEL SOCIETY AUSTRALASIA INAUGURAL CONFERENCE 2015
Love Historical Fiction? I do. I’m delighted to be one of the speakers for this inaugural conference to be held in March 2015. I’ll be joining the likes of Kate Forsyth, Colin Falconer, Toni Jordan, Sophie Masson, Blanche DAlpuget and Isolde Martyn, and many more historical novelists.
The Historical Novel Society Australasias inaugural conference will be held in Sydney on 20-22 March 2015 at historic Balmain Town Hall, Sydney, with the opening reception being held at the State Library of NSW. And if your interested in the conference dinner on the Saturday night, I’ll be hosting a table!
The conference programme includes sessions on craft, research, inspiration, publishing pathways, social media, sub-genres and personal histories. There is an academic session, manuscript assessments and supersessions to teach authors to weave research into compelling fiction, as well as a session with agents and publishers. Dont miss out on the First Pages Pitch session or our saucy In Bed With History readings!
