Well I’m heading into the pointy end of the year in my writing world. The year seems to have flown as usual and here we are in mid-July with weeks of cattle work behind us, fat lambs sold, cotton off, crops in the ground and…. don’t hold your breath, waiting for rain once again. Come August I’ll be winding my way north to Brisbane (one day two events)for a rural literature panel at the Ekka (Brisbane Show) and then as a guest, along with pal Fleur McDonald and Brisbane Writer’s Festival director Kate Eltham at the Chermside Library for an extra special literary event; Outback Voices.

Three weeks later on the 1st September my fourth novel, Sunset Ridge hits the shelves (more on this upcoming release soon) and I embark on a month long tour visiting QLD/NSW/ACT and SA. After that…. well my next novel is due to the publishers in December.

If you’re around Brisbane on the 8th August would love to see you all, so drop bye and say hello!
