The Australian Book Industry Awards will be held in Sydney this wednesday 30th June. Here are some of the nominees from four of the categories. I haven’t listed everyone (apologies) just a couple of my personal fav’s. Personally I would love to see literary stalwart David Malouf win at least one award, although Peter Temple will be hard to beat perhaps having just won the $42,000.00 Miles Franklin. Fingers crossed for Fleur McDonald for the newcomer section.
