After a great day in Moree-thanks to Hendersons Books & Office Supplies and The Town & Country Club & The Dust Jacket; I returned home with out filling my car only to discover that the station fuel bowser was empty. Slight problem when you’re 100 km’s from the nearest town! Luckily Rodney from Caltex in Goondiwindi came to the rescue, altering his route into QLD so that NSW was first on the agenda, our property an am drop instead of pm. The fuel truck rumbled into our place a little before lunch and I filled up and left soon after. Thank you Rodney! O/nite in Inverell, then I’ve two signings on thurs; Kanga Langa Books-Glen Innes 10am  & Dymocks-Armidale 2pm. I’ve left the black soil plains and am ensconced within the undulating hills of the beginning of the North West Slopes. It’s dry here. About 50km’s out of town the grasses are tufted remnants of better seasons. Inverell hopes for rain. Hopefully the weather gods will provide.
